Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) | Contract

The role focuses on quality assurance for a banking mobile application project. The specialist will support end-to-end testing across Android, iOS, API, frontend, backend, and integration layers, while contributing to automated testing using Java, Selenide, TestNG, and cloud-based testing platforms such as LambdaTest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
• Conduct UI testing and API testing to validate backend communication and messaging.
• Ensure quality across frontend, backend, and integration points.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to align on testing scope and coverage.
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites.
• Participate in manual exploratory testing for new features when needed.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Middle-Senior experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Experience with Selenide for UI automation.
• Experience with TestNG for test orchestration and reporting.
• Experience with LambdaTest or similar cloud testing platforms.
• Familiarity with REST-assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
• Ability to write automated API tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools.
• Ability to define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
