Role: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented WordPress developer to enhance mobile page speed for a highly customized, ad-supported WordPress site. This high-traffic platform relies on over 300 custom PHP files within its theme to manage user tracking, analytics, and advertising. The primary focus of this role is to improve mobile page speed while maintaining essential JavaScript functions critical for ad revenue.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Advanced WordPress Development Experience: Extensive experience with custom WordPress sites with substantial theme customizations.
• Expertise in PHP and JavaScript: Strong skills in PHP and JavaScript to navigate and optimize a complex codebase.
• Proven Performance Optimization Skills: Demonstrated ability to improve mobile page speed, including manual caching, image resizing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SEO for Mobile Optimization: Familiarity with SEO practices that influence mobile page speed.
• Experience with Code Review and CI/CD Pipelines: Comfortable working within a structured development process involving code reviews and approvals.
• Lithuanian Language Skills: Strongly preferred to support smooth collaboration with the client’s team.
