Freelance Product Owner

Behalf of our client, we are looking for Freelance Product Owner (User Devices) to join our team for an exciting project in software development. This role involves managing end-user devices within the EDP platform, defining and enforcing standards, overseeing the lifecycle of these devices, and ensuring their seamless integration with critical infrastructure. The position is based in the EU, with remote options available, and the project duration is expected to be 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension.

As the Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping the product vision, developing specifications, and managing the roadmap for user devices. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other product owners to ensure that the user device strategy aligns with both business objectives and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce standards for end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile) and secure access policies (BYOD, PAW/rPAW).
• Oversee the lifecycle management and endpoint security of user devices.
• Ensure compliance with KRITIS standards for virtual clients.
• Develop the product vision, specifications, and roadmap for user devices.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other product owners to ensure alignment with business needs and goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing product backlogs and product development in a software environment.
• Strong understanding of device management, security policies, and lifecycle processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Experience working with UI/UX standards and balancing technical and business requirements.
