Behalf of our client, we are looking for Freelance Business Analyst to work in banking project.
Project/Client: The project is within the banking sector, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions for a leading financial institution. The project focuses on data management, business analysis, and process improvement, allowing you to contribute to major transformations in the banking domain.
Location: The position is open to candidates based in the European Union, and there is flexibility for remote work. You will be part of a dynamic, multicultural team and can choose to work remotely or from a central office within the EU.
Start Date: We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. The project is already underway, and your immediate involvement will ensure you can make a significant impact from the outset.
Duration: The initial contract is for 6 months, with the potential for an extension up to 1 year, depending on project requirements and performance. This offers you the opportunity to engage in long-term planning and continuous contribution to a high-impact project.
Residency Requirement: To comply with local regulations, we are looking for candidates who are either citizens or residents of the European Union. This ensures smooth collaboration and adherence to the legal and tax requirements of the project location.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Mid/Senior Business Analyst to support a data-driven project for a prominent banking client. The ideal candidate should have strong banking domain knowledge and a thorough understanding of business processes in this field. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and APIs would be highly beneficial.
Must-Have Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process/Product Owner, or similar role in Finance, Business Intelligence, IT, or Risk Management.
- Strong banking domain knowledge and experience working with banking products, IT systems, and risk data.
- Proficiency in business analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and leadership experience, working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, reporting solutions, and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence.
- Advanced English skills (both written and spoken).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business and solution requirements gathering, including functional and non-functional specifications.
- Collect, analyze, and document data requirements, mapping, and technical specifications.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and drive communication across teams.
- Assess and improve data quality and metadata collection processes.
- Work closely with development, testing, and business delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support data stewards and contribute to the development of the business analysis team.
