Freelance Android Developer

Behalf of our client, we are looking for Freelance Android Developer.

Project/Client: consumer electronics

Location: Lithuania (remote/hybrid possible)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Role Overview:

Join a dynamic team to design and build advanced Android applications for a high-tech consumer electronics project. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, work on new feature delivery, and help boost app performance and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Android applications (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)
• Integrate with remote data sources and APIs (REST, JSON)
• Ensure code robustness and app reliability through thorough unit testing
• Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and improve overall performance

Must-Have Requirements:

• 4+ years of Android development, strong in Android SDK and Kotlin
• Experience with MVI/Redux, Jetpack Compose, and popular third-party libraries (e.g., Dagger2, Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide)
• Working knowledge of mobile app architecture and development lifecycle
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit); familiarity with Espresso/Robolectric a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Apps published in Google Play
