Phyton or C++ Developer / Freelancer

Our client who has a system with a camera to live stream and track different sports matches (handball, football, ice hockey).

The company's mission statement is to replace a sports cameraman with a live streaming tracking algorithm.

They’re doing this video tracking live and streaming to an AWS service. 

About the project:

Company needs to develop an algorithm that tracks both ball and player movement (a weight-based tracking method to ensure the camera is zoomed in where the ‘action’ or ‘play’ is) in a video stream for sports.

The result needs to be like a TV production, but without the camera man (this is really important).

The matches that are prioritized are handball, football and ice hockey. They’re starting off with handball.

The main technologies and requirements:

• Python or C++.
• Machine Learning.
• OpenCV.
• Experience in video tracking for sports.

Seniority level:

Regular to Senior.

The work mode:

Remote position with possible business trips.
