Description
As a QA Lead along with other team members, you will be responsible for building new products and features as well as maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading the existing Adform platform. You will work in a team that is a crucial contributor to Adform products.
You will be a vital part of the software development efforts, working in a cross-functional international Agile team with world-class engineers, product managers, and leaders located in multiple locations around the world.
Key points about the product and the team
• Your primary focus would be Business Application platform and development teams that are operating in this area. We are one of the
biggest development group in Adform, currently have 11 product teams. Our teams main focus is to develop, improve and maintaining business application, backend layer. Our owned platform has more than 600 API endpoints which are serving for our internal and external needs.
Your responsibilities
• Driving quality improvement initiatives in the teams and Application group
• Setting quality standards and best practices
• Enabling teams to create quality software
• Writing automated tests and helping developers do it
• Planning and estimating testing efforts
• Coordinating and initiating end to end system testing
• Mentoring and growing other QA engineers
• Providing insights into the current state of quality
We expect you
• Experience in driving quality standards and establishing quality KPI’s
• Will support teams in defining QA approach
• Will become expert of your own Applications domain
• Familiar with at least 1 programming language (C#, JavaScript, Scala, Java, etc.)
• Hands on experienced with test automation
• Have experience with REST API testing
• Experience with non-functional testing practices (performance, chaos, security, load, etc.)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiar with web architecture (DNS, Load Balancers, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of practices and tools used for monitoring, alerting and logging
Practical knowledge of functional testing tools It would be an advantage if you are familiar/have knowledge of
• Familiar with stream processing architectures (e.g. using Storm, Spark, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, etc.)
