IBM DataPower Developer/Application support specialist

For our customer we are looking for a IBM DataPower Developer/Application support specialist
There is a need to strengthen the Integration AM team with an IBM DataPower resource. The assignment aims to strengthen the integration maintenance team in the day to day delivery which entails Incident Management, Service Requests, and Change Management as well as developing new services, in project format.

The integration services is defined as supporting services Integration platform (IBM WebSphere Message Broker and IBM DataPower) and Fusion Integration (Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle SOA Suite). IBM WebSphere will be de-commissioned in May 2017.

Job description:
Work tasks includes, but are not limited to:
• Ensure adherence to established technology standards and consult with senior leadership on technology solutions
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot IBM DataPower appliances
• Developing integration solutions-SOA Technology —using IBM Datapower
• Revise/create Standard Operational Procedures
• Transform business needs into technical solutions
• Improve IBM DataPower monitoring capabilities
• Patching IBM DataPower appliances
• Document (Technical. Functional and Operations instructions) existing IBM DataPower integrations
• Act as project member of the IBM WebSphere to Oracle SOA Suite project

Required skills:
• Experience working in projects that have a various level of complexity, being responsible for structuring the work, prioritizing and assigning project tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues
• Experience in IBM DataPower and Web Service programming, configuration, code analysis and review, and develops and executes unit/integration tests, all at a low to high level of complexity
• Experience in using the multi-protocol gateway to support message types with different protocols and integrations
• Experience creating and reviewing detailed technical specifications of various complexity and performing the review of technical design


Preferred skills:
• Experience in IBM WebSphere is appreciated
• Experience in Oracle SOA Suite / Oracle Data Integrator is appreciated
