Freelance Data Engineer

We are currently looking for a Freelance Data Engineer.

• Contract duration: April 2025 – End of Year (possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage efficient data pipelines for extracting and transforming data from Dynamics 365 FO.
• Design data storage and integration solutions that align with analytical and business needs.
• Optimize data processing workflows to ensure scalability and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with BI and business teams to structure and prepare data for analytical purposes.
• Maintain data governance standards, ensure data quality, and document data flows effectively.
• Implement performance optimization strategies for data queries and storage solutions.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with data ingestion and transformation from Dynamics 365 FO.
• Proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse or Databricks for data processing.
• Strong background in ETL/ELT architectures and working with relational and cloud databases (Azure).
• Understanding of data governance principles and expertise in data modeling.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with BI and business stakeholders.
• Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for task automation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO and its data model.
• Ability to lead data transformation and integration projects.
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer certification is a plus.
