CAD Engineer - Interior Trim

For our customer we are looking for a CAD Engineer

Job description:
We are looking for a CAD Engineer to design different components in our customers project, from industrialization phase to production start. Our customer works with R&D and this assignment is placed in their Interior Trim area. The work will be carried out together with a team consisting of other design engineers, test engineers and CAE engineers.
In this role you will be given the possibility to improve and deepen your technical knowledge of the system area and the chance to build new network within our customers company.

Main responsibilities
• In Catia V5 make concept and tooling 3D models to meet attributes and demands agreed according to customer standards
• 2D drawings and 3DPMi (3D drawings)
• Tolerance setting of the parts
• Initiate and assure that corrective actions are carried out when deviations occurs
• Together with the responsible design leader, follow the component development time plans

Required skills:
• Technical Education, preferably a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years’ experience from product development
• Good knowledge and experience in CATIA V5
• Driver’s license B
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Preferred skills:
• Experience in Teamcenter
• Technical knowledge of interior engineering & plastic tooling
