Personal Statement
I am a beginner UI/UX Designer, currently looking forward to finding a job where I could gain more experience, develop new skills, and improve my abilities to work in a tech company. I am a quick learner, always giving 120% to the job, I am good at working under pressure. I like to ask questions and discuss ideas. I have "get things done" mentality that is why I like to keep up productive workflow. There is time for work and there is time for chit chat. I have some experience in creating wireframes, high fidelity mockups, user journeys, personas, etc. Most of my work is done by using Figma, but I am familiar with Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator. Give me a month and I will be a master of Sketch. Here is my portfolio https://www.alinarad.com/. In my portfolio you will find projects which were done for a Team Treehouse UX Design Techdegree, currently I am doing an internship at a company which sells high quality flour, I am working on a new design for their website, I did some user research, user flows and empathy maps as well, to determine main pain point with their current website. But looking forward to a bigger experience and some challenges. I am not sure if I will be a UX/UI champion or wizard, but for sure I will be good at what I do.
All in all, I think it is easy to create a banal fairytale about how good I am, and that I have all the skills which you need, but I will stay truthful to you. I always value myself critically and always see places where there is still room for improvement and growth. So, yes, maybe I’m not the best candidate, especially when it comes to experience or design tools. But at the end of the day, not everything is about tools or experience, all of these things can be learned or gained, but to be a good and honest person is much harder to become. You can be a master of all design tools with years of experience, but if you will be not a nice person, then nobody will like to work with you.
