Description

As a Technical Implementation Analyst at Juvare, you’ll put your web developer skills into practice as part of our Professional Services software implementation team. In this experienced front-end developer role, you’ll work side by side with clients to customize and configure our custom, complex process driven software solutions. You will wear many hats and possess a unique combination of technical skills and business acumen as well as a do-what-it-takes attitude and be flexible with work schedule. Along the way, our experienced team will mentor you on the nuances of emergency management and you will develop advanced knowledge of the world’s leading incident management solution - WebEOC®. Responsibilities:

  • Use web/front-end developer skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.) to iteratively configure and customize the WebEOC® user interface to the specifications of our clients.
  • Design secure, scalable, sustainable and compliant solutions.
  • Participate in onsite or virtual requirements discovery sessions with clients.
  • Document final as-built configuration following completion of solutions.
  • Participate in quality control and testing activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar technical major is strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven experience as developing web applications using client-side development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, XSLT, and third-party libraries.
  • 2+ years of client facing experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in writing test cases and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience in working with scrum/Kanban teams preferably using SAFe methodology.
  • Experience with web security, OWASP preferred.
  • Experience with Rally, JIRA and/or Confluence or Microsoft Azure Devops.
  • Experience with public sector/Federal IT compliance preferred.
  • Emergency management experience preferred but not essential.
  • WebEOC experience preferred but not essential.

Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and common web programming skills.
  • Experience with Material Design and/or Bootstrap.
  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server or any other relational databases desired.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Superior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client or internal company sites when appropriate and legally permitted. Travel will vary from none to moderate (generally less than 25%), depending on the needs of the client.
