Description:

The Video Streaming team at BetGames.TV is responsible for the entire video solution from acquisition to delivery. We are seeking a Video Streaming Engineer/Developer to join our team.

You will work in a supportive team of video engineers, TV studio managers and software developers to improve our video streaming solution to provide the highest quality experience to our end users. We are looking for someone who enjoys engineering as much as programming and is creative in complex problem solving.

By joining us you will:

• Support video capturing, encoding, streaming and recording infrastructure
• Install, set-up and test Audio/Video equipment
• Support video playback implementations on different platforms
• Research new video encoding and streaming technologies
• Perform other duties as assigned

We expect you to possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline
• General understanding of audio/video data and it’s processing principles
• Analytical and problem solving skills

We would appreciate if you have:

• Knowledge of media data compression standards (video/audio codecs)
• Knowledge of media data containers (flv, mp4) and transport protocols (RTMP, HTTP, WS)
• General understanding of network architecture (OSI)
• Familiarity with video capturing and processing hardware
