About the Role

Our client is a global organization seeking a Senior Software PHP Engineer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking development team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using PHP and modern technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full software development lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take part in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product managers and team members to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software using PHP, Laravel, MySQL 8.0, and ElasticSearch.
• Build and maintain efficient front-end components using React, HTML, and CSS.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Implement best practices through unit and integration testing.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Continuously contribute to process improvement and software quality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL 8.0 and ElasticSearch
• Proven experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Clean Architecture
• Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and React
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and software testing practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis, AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS), Git
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with React 18
