Senior Software Engineer (Java, .NET, OpenTelemetry) | Contract

Responsibilities:

The consultant will work with the Observability and Toolset Engineering Team and will:

• Instrument .NET and JAVA applications using OpenTelemetry;
• Create and update .NET and JAVA application instrumentation using OpenTelemetry approach and documentation;
• Consult and guide developers on .NET and JAVA application instrumentation to adopt the solution;
• Collaborate with Developers community to discover requirements.

Requirements:

• .NET Software Engineering experience;
• JAVA Software Engineering experience;
• Instrumentation of Application using OpenTelemetry;
• DevOps (git, CI/CD, AzureDevOps, Terraform, etc.);
• PaaS experience – OpenShift or Kubernetes;
• Linux and Windows OS knowledge;
• Working experience with AWS and aplicab.

Add important skills (Optional)

Hands-on engineering experience in Observability domain - any combination of:

• AppDynamics;
• metrics – Prometheus;
• logging – ELK;
• tracing – Grafana Tempo or similar;
• OpenTelemetry instrumentation (APM);
• visualization and alerting – Grafana.
