Senior IT Platform Cloud DevOps Engineer, Core Payments Tribe, Payments Platform Squad

The Core Payments Tribe is responsible for the accurate and timely payments

processing, playing a vital role in supporting new payment solutions at Danske

Bank. Our tribe is actively developing our payment systems on a public cloud

platform and is seeking additional team members for the Payments Platform

Squad.

Responsibilities

Work on Cloud base applications & solutions migration to AWS. Applications &

Microdevices development for the Java Public Cloud base solutions.

Engage with a modern tech stack, including tools and technologies such as

Microservice architecture, Java 21, Maven, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, GitHub

Actions, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

• Experience on developing, deploying and optimising Java base services on

Cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with cloud-based Amazon solutions & services: S3, RDS, VPC,

EC2, etc.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (like HashiCorp Terraform).

• Experience with managing Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Kafka and ElasticSearch

clusters.

• Strong awareness of IT security practices.

• Experience in deploying and optimising highly critical systems and

infrastructures.

• Advanced English language skills.

• Self-starter with an excellent sense of ownership.

• It is advantageous if you have experience working with gRPC, MS SQL,

Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
