Senior Java Software Engineer | Contract

Responsibilities:

• Refactor code-base.
• Reduce the complexity of code base.
• Coach younger colleagues.
• Maintain and improve code.
• Develop new features.
• Participate in production releases.
• Participate in incident management.
• Design and develop cloud-native systems.
• Write tests.

Requirements:

• Experience with Java (5+ years), Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST, Junit, MQ, ElasticSearch.
• Experience in building Cloud-Native solutions & using cloud infrastructure (AWS experience would be a bonus).
• Understanding of CI/CD principles, with bonus points for familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility to carry out deliveries in a structured manner.
• Ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share them with a team.
• Strong focus on code quality.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Upper-Intermediate English skills.
