Mid/Senior Java Developer | Contract

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, solution design, REST APIs, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java.
• Work with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution design.
• Build, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and backend systems.
• Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices.
• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply software security principles and development best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setup.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical background.
• Expertise in solution design and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and related tools.
• Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Lithuanian citizenship required.
• Fluent Lithuanian.
• English B2+, written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on telecom projects.
