Freelance C++ Developer

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated C++ Developer to join an exciting project in the aerospace and technology sector. This innovative project is focused on aerial data collection and navigation, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in the industry.

The role will be based in Vilnius, with flexibility for fully remote work, and we are looking for someone to start ASAP. The initial contract is for 2 months, with the possibility of extension after the launch of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), depending on project needs and performance.

As a C++ Developer, you will be responsible for key aspects of the system, such as integrating hardware devices, developing device drivers, and implementing control logic to ensure effective communication between devices and other system components. Your work will play a vital role in enabling seamless interaction between different technologies, contributing to the successful deployment of advanced systems for aerial data collection and navigation.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with C++.
• Experience with multi-threaded applications.
• Familiarity with CMake.
• Experience with automatic testing (gtest).
• Experience developing software for Linux/Unix platforms.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Basic Linux (Ubuntu) skills and bash scripting.
• Good English communication skills (documentation, content).
• Basic understanding of computer networking.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with gRPC using C++.
• Experience integrating external devices (industrial cameras, lidars, GNSS units, etc.) and using 3rd party SDKs.
